Hull Builder’s Risk insurance is designed to cover a vessel and materials from the beginning of construction through final delivery to the customer. Important covers, in addition to cover for risks of loss or damage due to open perils, include failure to launch, pollution hazard, faulty design, salvage and collision liability. Certain P&I perils may also be covered. Pricing is based on completed Hull values at the time of delivery.
